Watchee2.5.2 - App Store

Watchee was designed to let watch enthusiasts and collectors easily track key information related to their watches. After entering all your information with many predefined options for ease of use, you will have your watch collection virtually with you on your iPhone!

STORE WATCH SPECIFIC DETAILS
. Movement details: type of movement, calibre, power reserve, vibrations per hour
. Serial number and reference number
. Case details, such as diameter, lug width, crown type, thickness and material
. Complications(up to six per watch), predefined list for quick selection
. Prices of purchase and sales

ACCURACY MEASUREMENT
. Store multiple accuracy measurements for each watch
. Check interim result for a measurement while test is active
. Storing the results of each test allows you to compare whether a watch is more accurate on your wrist than in a box or on a winder, for example.

WEAR RATE
. Track which watches you wear most often
. Track how many days have passed since you last wore a certain watch
. Track the cost per wear
. It can be quite interesting to see which watches are getting the most wrist time and which are mostly hiding away in the watch box
. Finding watch specific statistics is as easy as tapping a button each time you wear a watch

BADGES
. Earn various badges for the watches in your collection to keep watch collection hobby exciting.
. As most visuals, the badges can be turned on/off as per user preferences

WATCH OF THE DAY
. Get a random watch suggestion from your own collection on those busy mornings
. If you choose to go with the suggestion, automatically increment Wear Rate statistics and History Log

HISTORY LOG
. Automatically (if enabled in the settings) logs many things happening in the App regarding watches. I.e. when the watch was added to collection or sold
. Tracks the status changes for watches: Keeper, In Service, Needs a strap and so on
. Also adds the ability to log a datestamp each time (or every 10th time) a watch is worn. History log works automatically together with wrist statistics

KEEPER RATE AND SELLER RATE
. Watchee will suggest Keeper & Seller Rates for your watches by comparing a specific watch against all the other watches in your collection. It will compare the various attributes of your watch against the averages of those attributes across your collection

WATCH STATUS
. Set a status for each watch in the collection
. There are various statuses to choose from such as: Keeper, Willing to flip, Incoming, In Service, My Next Watch, Needs a new Strap...).
. Statuses can be very handy for those situations when you are buying new straps for your watches or flipping the watches with friends, visiting a watchmaker etc.

PDF DOCUMENTS
. Easily create beautiful PDF-documents describing the watches in your collection
. Create comprehensive sales adverts for your watches with just a tap of a button
. Four different documents to choose from

CSV-FILES
. The main watch collection data can be exported to a CSV-format
. Exported CSV-file can be further examined with spreadsheet programs

In case you need to share some information with your friends, Watchee let's you do that via email or popular messaging Apps.
Watchee stores all its information on your device so it does not need internet-connection unless you wish to share some information with friends.

nicely reveal how much the collection has grown lately. Also the new symbol can be tapped to show the exact duration of ownership.

-New badge for 1st tracked wear of a watch. The badge can be tapped to show the progress towards the next badge.

-Watch fading: also the watches that are never worn are now faded if the feature is enabled in the settings.

-Watch delete safeguard against accidental watch delete with a stray finger swipe on main screen

I hope you like the frequent updates of Watchee and it would be great if you would consider writing a small review for it app on the App Store. 2.0.4 10/10/2020 Watchee is celebrating a two year anniversary on October and to celebrate the occasion there's a big update to the app.
The following new features are introduced with the anniversary release (as always, the update is free for the existing app users):

- Badges! You can now start to earn various badges for the watches in your collection. As always with major visual features of the app there's also the option to hide the feature in the settings. In fact for badges to appear, you first need to enable the functionality in the settings.

- Visual indicator (traffic light bar) for the level of data entered per watch. This is convenient specially when adding new watches to the collection in order to visually see which ones still need some data in order to be completely entered. And yes, there's also a badge to be earned by adding all the tech details for a watch! It's also possible to enable/disable the indicator in the settings.

- Fading of the unworn watches. You may now flip a switch in the settings which will gradually start fading the watches on the main watch list if they have not been marked as worn in some days. The fading happens gradually as days go by from watches being fully opaque to nearly transparent. Enabling fading is a very efficient way of instantly seeing which watches are not getting the wrist time and might even perhaps be considered for selling.

- Watch dimension diagram view. On the watch details page there's now a third view when flipping the watch image by tapping it. First there's the front view, then case back and finally the new dimension view to reveal the vital dimension specifications of a watch.

- Last but not least there's a new app icon, I hope you will like it.

So it's now time to update the app and start earning those badges!

More specifically: collection averages for diameter, thickness and lug-to-lug. These can be very helpful when choosing one's next watch!

- Anniversaries will notify (so that you will remember to wear it on the special day) when a certain watch has been owned for example one or 15 years.
- Watchee tips will notify with some useful tips regarding the app.

Introducing Watchee-notifications. It's now possible to get notifications straight from the app when certain events occur for the watches in your collection.
One can naturally enable/disable all the notifications from the app's settings tab (also need to enable when the app asks permission for notifications).

Current list of notifications is as follows:
- Wear notifications, so that you don't forget to mark any watches worn during the day.
- Long running accuracy measurements.
- Expiring warranties.

This version also adds two new statuses for watches, namely "Incoming" and "Short List". It's nice to fill in all the details for any watches you may have ordered and are eagerly waiting to arrive.
Meanwhile in Watchee the status may now be set as "Incoming" and then later changed to something else when the watch has arrived. The "Short List" status could be used i.e. for any watches you may be considering
to acquire in the near future.

This update also adds some new values for dial color and glass -options.
